Who We Are

Dr. Kwamme Anderson

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Healthcare is her passion and helping others is her life’s mission.  In 1998, Dr. Kwamme Anderson earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from Southern University System’s Baton Rouge, Louisiana campus.  Immediately thereafter, she enrolled in the Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy where she obtained her Master of Public Administration concentrating in Health Care Administration.

In 2001, Dr. Anderson was awarded the prestigious Presidential Management Fellowship (PMF) with placement at the United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Rockville, Maryland.  Her professional career spans over 18 years as where she has served as a Project Officer for the Title VII federal program with an $18.5 million grant portfolio aimed at increasing the number of underrepresented minorities in the health professions.

Along her career path as a DHHS civil servant, Dr. Anderson was previously a Congressional Staffer within the federal legislative branch of our government to The Honorable Sheila Jackson Lee (TX-18), The Honorable Maxine Waters (CA-43) and The Honorable Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX-30).  In her former capacity as Vice President, Programs at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Incorporated (CBCF), she oversaw the Foundation’s strategic development and implementation of the Leadership Institute for existing and new program areas to include Congressional Internship and Fellowships, Pathways to the Corporate Suite Internship, Scholarships, China and Japan Study Abroad Programs, the Congressional Black Caucus Spouses and the Sojourner Truth Legacy Project.

Dr. Anderson returned to Capitol Hill January, 2018 as Deputy Chief of Staff to The Honorable Yvette D. Clarke (NY-9) where she handled her healthcare as well as her Black Women and Girls portfolio.  In 2011, Dr. Kwamme Anderson was conferred the Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from the University of Maryland System’s Eastern Shore Campus in Princess Anne, Maryland. Among her proudest accomplishments was serving as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s National Social Action Commissioner under the leadership of 24th National President, Cynthia M.A. Butler-McIntyre and the 25th National President, Dr. Paulette C. Walker. Returning to her Alma Mater as an Associate Professor of Public Policy and Public Administration, Dr. Anderson challenges her students to strive for excellent in all their endeavors.  Dr. Anderson is a native of Natchez, Mississippi and resides in Washington D.C.
